Jalna Dairy Foods Yogurt Batching Tanks
Stainless Services have been able to assist Jalna Dairy Foods in various projects over the years. More recently, Jalna Dairy Foods contracted Stainless Services to design, manufacture and install 4 Yoghurt Batch Tanks.

The scope of works included customising the tanks to fit in the restricted area within the plant, to hold the quantity of product as requested and also to modify and extend the access platforms.

Stainless Services were able to meet the demands and complete the installation without intruding on the production schedule.
Nuttelex Product Blending Tank
An old factory in the heart of Melbourne was originally the home of Nuttelex. As the business grew, the plant grew and additional equipment was installed. Unfortunately one of the existing tanks had deteriorated and Stainless Services were contracted to remove the old tank and to design, manufacture and install a new tank.

The specifications for the new tank included dimensions, strength and durability to cope with the heating, cooling and blending process of the ingredients. Stainless steel continues to be the material of choice for processing and storage tanks as it withstands the processes and the hygienic conditions.

Planning was vital in this project as there was a specific installation window to work within as to not impact productivity. Furthermore, access within the factory was difficult as was the location of the factory itself. Stainless Services were able to meet the challenges and successfully provide a quality solution.
Maddens Rise Incline Conveyor & Sorting Table
Having seen a concept overseas, the Yarra Valley Winery approached Stainless Services to design, manufacture and install an incline conveyor and sorting table.

The sorting table was designed with a flexible concept so that it could be used with or without the incline conveyor. Made in stainless steel with food grade conveyor belt, the sorting table was the solution to handle the light and medium weight material.

The criteria for the incline conveyor were that it was to be multi-functional and be able to access the wine press and the fermenting tanks. Combining numerous facets of conveyor technology, Stainless Services were able to produce a simple, robust and extremely flexible concept that met the winery demands.
Ocean Oils – Modify Existing Tank
Ocean Oils had an existing tank for fish oil products and called on Stainless Services to assist with relocating the tank. The dimensions of the tank needed to be modified in order for it to fit in the new location.

Stainless Services were able to come up with the best solution and carried out the modifications.
Amcor K-Box Tipper
Stainless Services worked with the Amcor engineering designers to build a bulk bin unloader to discharge the bottle caps. Basically, a forklift would be used to feed the bulk bins of caps into the vertical structure which would then be unloaded via the spout and tipped onto the production line.
Pipework
To meet the customer requirements, Stainless Services constructed stainless steel process pipework with an advanced quality high pressure filtration system.
Custom made natural gas monitoring equipment enclosures
Stainless Services fabricated 4 stainless steel enclosures for a customer supplying specialist monitoring equipment into the natural gas industry.
This industry requires very high quality work with stringent guidelines and reporting procedures which was completed along with the cabinets by Stainless Services.
Nuttelex Food Products Platform
Stainless Services designed and manufactured 2 access platform assemblies for Nuttelex Food products, in our design we included the customers’ requirements but also the strict Australian Standard guidelines for stairways and platforms. The finished product met all the requirements successfully and we received a repeat order shortly after.
Poultry Packing Bins
Stainless Services fabricated and delivered stainless steel Poultry Packing Bins which were designed by our customer.
Yogurt Batching Tanks
Stainless Services designed manufactured and installed the 4 small yogurt batching tanks, access platforms and fabricated the process pipe work on site to complete the installation of a 2kg bucket yogurt filling line.
Raw Milk Storage Vessels
Stainless Services consulted with the prospective customer, designed, manufactured and installed the raw milk storage vessels.
Nestle dust collector fabrication and Installation
Stainless Services worked with GEA Nu-Con to fabricate and install a dust collector for Nestle in their coffee facility in Gympie Queensland. We manufactured the dust collector in sections in our factory in Thomastown and transported them by truck to Gympie.
The job was made more difficult by the fact the dust collector was to be installed on the third floor and with no overhead lifting equipment every section needed to be transported on specially made trolleys to the third floor in the goods lift and being limited to the size of the lift we had to make sure we fabricated every section no bigger than the lift dimensions.
Once we had all the pieces to the third floor, we had to have the floor cut away to create the opening where the dust collector could drop through and some temporary steel work erected so we could lift the sections of the dust collector into place.
We had a time line of 2 weeks to have the dust collector installation complete, we joined the sections of the dust collector together and installed it into position and where off site with 3 days to spare, both GEA Nu-Con and the Nestle factory management where very happy with the finished product and how the installation was planned and carried out.
