Replacement of damaged bulk holding tank

One of our long-term clients contacted us to investigate a problem with a leaking bulk holding tank in their raw materials tank farm.

We inspected the tank onsite and found the #hotwaterjacket had failed and imploded the bottom section of the tank. Due to the positioning of the tanks and them being in an enclosed area repairing the tank in its current position was almost impossible.

We completed a cost comparison to either remove and repair the existing tank verses manufacturing and installing a replacement tank. The decision was made to replace the damaged tank. The new tank was designed to fit exactly into the same position which had minimal clearance between the other equipment around it.

We #designed, #manufactured, and #delivered the replacement tank which fitted perfectly into the required position and was ready for use with minimum interference to production.
