Repurposing Existing Equipment

We were asked by one of our clients to look at refurbishing and modifying an existing redundant cooking pot which would be introduced back into production for a new process. We overhauled the agitator system, tested the steam heating jacket, replaced the inlet and outlet valves, and we also fitted new load cells to the cooking pot to suit the new application.

We installed the tank in position with the new platform assembly that we fabricated. We mounted the electrical enclosure and also fabricated the pipework for the product ingredients, the pipework for the steam supply and the electrical conduits to the control cabinet and cooking pot.

The work was carried out without any interruption to production and within the required time line.
